Bill Kibler

Dr. Bill Kibler is Acting President at the College of Southern Nevada and President Emeritus of Sul Ross State University.  His 43-year career in higher education administration includes 37 years in student affairs administration and six years as a University President.  Bill served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Mississippi State University for ten years prior to moving to Sul Ross State University.  He spent 24 years at Texas A&M University in ascending positions in Student Affairs including serving as Vice President.  


He was engaged in crisis management, preparation, and response at all three universities, including serving as the Chair of the University Crisis Response Team during his service at Mississippi State University. Bill was named a NASPA Pillar of the Profession for sustained professional distinction in higher education.
