Katy Killian

Katy Killian currently serves as the Chief of Staff to the President at Illinois State University, a position she has held since 2021.  Katy is responsible for media relations and communications for the University, among other duties, and has been intricately involved in crisis communications and response both as Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Assistant to the President for Marketing and Communications, and Chief of Staff.  

As Assistant Vice President, she supervised the University Police, Student Affairs Marketing and Communications, Student Affairs Information Technology, and University Housing Services.
