Dr. Bill Kibler has had a distinguished career in higher education administration, including 35 years in student affairs and seven years as a university president. He currently serves as Vice President for Student Affairs at Texas A&M University.
Most recently, Dr. Kibler served as Acting President at the College of Southern Nevada during the 2024–2025 academic year. He is also President Emeritus of Sul Ross State University, where he served as president from 2014 to 2020.
Before his presidency at Sul Ross, Dr. Kibler was Vice President for Student Affairs at Mississippi State University for ten years. He also spent 24 years at Texas A&M University in progressively responsible roles within Student Affairs, including serving as interim Vice President.
He was engaged in crisis management, preparation, and response throughout his career, including serving as the Chair of the University Crisis Response Team during his service at Mississippi State University. Bill was named a NASPA Pillar of the Profession for sustained professional distinction in higher education.
